Ice Age

The water source is Alpine Creek, Toba Inlet, British Columbia. Above this Inlet is the Hat Mountain glacier, part of the Coastal Glacier Range, which feeds into a glacial lake, structured watershed, totally remote from habitation and industry and environmentally protected by the British Columbia Government.

This remote area is located approximately 200 miles northwest of Vancouver and visible on the coast, across from the northern tip of Vancouver Island. This designated area records in excess of 175 inches of rainfall annually, totally isolated from any source of human or commercial pollutants.

The water has a super low mineral content of less then 5mg/l something that low is usually only achieved by by melting snow or ice, as the process of freezing water vapor is a purification process. Contemporary water vapor contains organic molecules and sulfurous compounds picked up from the atmosphere. When water vapor freezes the atomic structure of ice cannot accommodate these molecules and they drop out.

As a precautionary sterilization requirement, the water line of the bottling plant runs through a UV and Ozonation process, which does not alter the unique character and structure of this glacial water.

ICE AGE certified MK Kosher Pareve

ICE AGE water in the award winning cobalt blue bottle, announces that it's Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada bottling plant has now been MK Certified Pareve. After a full plant inspection by the Rabbinical Council of Montreal the MK symbol now adorns all Ice Age bottles.

New Attitude found better recognition by U.S. consumers of the MK symbol than its previous certification as BCK. The bottling plant bottles only pure water products and does not add flavors, sugars or other ingredients that would allow the opportuniity of cross contamination .

The bottling plant also produces private label for a restricted and select number of clients as well, including Wild Oats' Capers Canada. The water has won numerous medals for its distinctive structure and naturally low total dissolved solids (minerals) content at 5 part per million. The Watermark plant in Vancouver has operated since 1992.
