History of Fin Spring The story of Finn Spring began in the 1980s, when relatives from London paid a visit to Hannu and Virpi Ali-Haapala. The couple had not found tasty drinking water in the United Kingdom and then the Finnish relatives were sitting there with real spring water. This delicacy had to be brought to England. The idea of Syrinharju and the Multila spring was born. Collecting of all kind of information concerning packing and selling water was essential, in order to make the right decisions. Late winter 1991 Ossi Peltoniemi joined a meeting at the county hall of Toholampi, invited by the local trade promoter. One of the parties was Hannu, enthusiastic about the packing and selling of water. The next autumn Hannu and Ossi started a trip to Central Europe. The first, historical export deals were arranged trough contacts arranged by the commercial secretaries of Prague and Warsaw. At that time, the spring water was packed in transparent plastic bags. During the trip they became convinced that the water business is a great idea. The rest of this story is a completely new chapter. It is a dynamic history of trade that has grown into a successful business made up from scratch. At the same time it has created far over twenty jobs "in the middle of nowhere ". That 's the way it was meant to be.
