Brightwater Ridge

Brightwater Ridge water begins its journey raining from the sky upon the Southern Alps thousands of years before man ever set foot on New Zealand shores. Upon falling onto the South Islands Southern Alps the water began it’s long journey winding down through the mountains. Once through the Alps the waters come together to form an underground river which slowly winds its way out of the mountains and down beneath the plains.

As the underground river flows from the mountains the water is further filtered through rock, shingle and sand before finally arriving at an underground artesian lake beneath the Canterbury plains. The water from this underground artesian lake arrives at the surface under its own natural pressure from 100 meters deep.

At the source the water is bottled in a purpose built premises, where it is further filtered and carbonated.
