Avita

In 1948 Avita Artesian Springs was discovered by Dr. Bernard Godfroy and Bernard Maurer on their 200 acre private estate surrounded by thousands of acres of the Northern Michigan Ausable State Forest.

75,000 million gallons per year flow continuously from twin artesian springs. Avita is bottled 1800 feet from it's source. The purity is such that only ozonation is required prior to bottling.

In 1996 Avita brand was introduced in the US and Canada. In 1999 the product was sold in 1/2 liter and 1 liter PET bottles and 1 liter glass in Michigan, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, Florida and North Carolina.
