Collingwood Water Co., Inc.

In 1875, the residents of the Collingwood Springs area in Toledo, Ohio, drilled a 650 foot well to supply themselves with safe drinking water. Shortly thereafter, around the turn of the century, Collingwood Water Company was formed, selling quality drinking water to the surrounding areas and delivering via horse drawn carriage. In 1957, Donald Ormsby and his business partner purchased Collingwood Water Co. from the family of the original owner and incorporated it with their existing refrigeration service company. The Ormsby family took sole ownership in 1974 and still owns and operates the business today, bottling and delivering quality drinking water to homes and businesses in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.
