Hidden in a quiet hollow surrounded by 120 acres of virgin forest, the spring is located approximately 60 miles west of Nashville, Tennessee near the sleepy little town of Vanleer. The site, seen here before being developed for bottling, is as pristine as it was 200 years ago when our family first acquired the land on which it is located.
Family and friends alike used the cool water as a daily source. Because the water was, and still is, a constant 58 degrees, our ancestors cut troughs in the limestone beneath the mouth of the spring and placed jugs of milk and crocks of butter in them to cool.
StoneClear Spring Water is bottled straight from the source, so it is never exposed to outside air until the point at which it goes into the bottle.
