Brecon Carreg Natural Mineral Water owes its purity to the filtrations through the rock strata of Milstone, Basalt Grit, and Sandstone in aquifers some 240 feet deep beneath the mountains.
The Brecon Carreg spring has a low mineral content which makes the water ideal for regular consumption and for those on a low sodium diet. This, along with investment from Spadel, has led to Brecon Carreg being available in the majority of the major supermarkets as well as more local establishments.
First off, the source is in a heavily protected catchment area. Located at the Western edge of the 500 square mile Brecon Beacons National Park, the catchment areas lies within a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). A further 2000 acres, is directly controlled, where no farming is permitted.
