FineWaters is happy to announce the availability of its services for WAP* enabled cell phones and PDA’s.

You can now access pretty much all the information on FineWaters including the description of more then 500 bottled waters from 22 countries on the go with your WAP enabled cell phone or PDA.

Now in the restaurant or the super market, water connoisseurs are now able to access all the important information about a particular brand of bottled waters instantly in order to be able to make an informed purchase decision.

The free WAP service of FineWaters will allow consumers to access the latest reviews and information about bottled water as well as background information on the bottled water etiquette and how to match bottled water with food.

*Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) is an open international standard for applications that use wireless communication, for example Internet access from a mobile phone. WAP was designed to provide services equivalent to a Web browser with some mobile-specific additions, being specifically designed to address the limitations of very small portable devices.

Matching Bottled Water With Food
The FineWaters Balance categorizes the "mouthfeel" of water based on the level of carbonization in five steps from Still to Effervescent, Light, Classic and Bold. This categorization is the basis of matching water with food in a fine dinig experience.

The Water Glass
When one orders water in a fine dining restaurant it becomes rapidly clear that water is, in most cases, an afterthought. We have been served water in all possible contraptions from heavy whiskey tumblers to long highball glasses and the dreaded lemonade glass. A wide variety of wine glasses are also often used as water glasses. This is not appropriate.
