As a first in airports, Dublin features ‘Ól – Waters of the World’ (Ól Irish for "to drink") a bar and store carrying a wide array of mineral waters from around the world. The store is located in the centre of the main travel retail store area. The concept store currently features 1 Litre, Extreem H2), Bling, Earth water, Elsenham, Veen. Fillico, Fiji, Lauquen, Pineo, Iskilde, Karoo, Solé Arte, OGO, Sourcy Pure, Panna, San Pellegrino, Blue Keld, Hildon, Ty Nant, Tau and Finé.
Dublin Airport has opened a major new extension to its existing terminal (T1), with a hugely enhanced retail and food & beverage offer split over two levels. The move is part of the €2 billion ‘Transforming Dublin Airport’ project. The extension (dubbed ‘T1X’) serves passengers using Piers A and D, and features a number of new concepts. The store itself features bright new areas for liquor, tobacco and fragrances & cosmetics, and faces a Guinness merchandise outlet across a wide corridor. All passengers for Piers A and D will pass the open-fronted main travel retail outlet.
