Penguin Ice waters was selected to be offered at The Green Ball, to be held in Washington DC’s historic Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium on Inauguration weekend. Designed by noted San Francisco architect Arthur Brown, Jr. between 1926 and 1931, the Mellon Auditorium was completed in 1934 and is the central focus of a tripartite building group occupying the area between 12th and 14th Streets on Constitution Avenue.
The Green Ball is Washington and the nation’s opportunity to show the importance of reducing our impact on our environment. The bountiful buffets will focus on organic and local ingredients; the power used to produce the event will be offset by the purchase of Renewable Energy Credits from American Wind; and Event Emissary, The Green Ball’s producer and Washington DC’s first green event planning company, will purchase carbon credits to off-set the transportation of all truck deliveries and staff commutes for the events.In addition, five percent of the ticket sales will be donated to charity.
Penguin Ice is an environmentally friendly product that uses recyclable glass and metal packaging; and is sourced locally in Canada, in close proximity to North America’s largest population centers, thus drastically reducing the carbon footprint required for transport and delivery of Penguin Ice. In addition, the company offers all of its partners the opportunity to participate in its e-invoicing services.

Penguin Ice was most recently featured together with other Premium Brands at the FineWaters Pavilion in November 2008 at Tastings NYC to a crowd of restaurateurs, beverage distributors, press and invited guests.
