Christmas is early this year for the kids at the Arctic Circle. No doubt Santa will be going green after finding out his territory has been taken over by a competing charity. Another famous Arctic Circle resident VEEN is donating 10.000 euros for kids recreational activities. These 75 kilograms worth of euros were raised in the first ever VEEN Art -exhibition.

VEEN is a natural spring water product with unique qualities due to its terroir. Being low in minerals VEEN is a perfect companion for white wine. The way VEEN is promoted is just as original. It is only natural that while being bold and persistent, classic rules of marketing are often bent.

VEEN Art concept was created when VEEN was seeking a fresh way to raise awareness with a skimp budget. Since they couldn´t afford to advertise, they decided to start selling their own adverts. The media was provided for no cost by a friendly cooperating design hotel. All profits could thereby be given to charity.

The first ever VEEN Art -exhibition was a huge success. It displayed 40 paintings by Antti Eklund, the designer of the award winning VEEN Wave 66 bottle. The paintings revolve around VEEN and borrow themes from well-known pieces.

The exhibition “Recycled masterpieces and 15 minute originals” raised a positive interest among the visitors and 10.000 euros for the northern children.
