Naibetsu River in Chitose City is rich in spring waters that flow into it.
The waters have their origin in "Shikotsuko" Lake.
So abundant the water
volume is, the river is a key source of water supply in the city. It is also a
home of number of ancient historic site from Jomon-era, and river is clean
enough for salmons to swim up.
Near the joint with Chitose River locates a
park where visitors can try the water. One of 100 remarkable waters
certified by Ministry of Environment.

Transportation: Take a bus for
Shitotsuko lake from JR "Chitose" station, get off at "Shikotsuko Byoin-mae",
then 5 minutes walk to the park
