Albeit located just by Kanpachi driveway (Tokyo loop driveway 8), Todoroki
valley is rich in nature attracting people all year around as four seasons bring
variety of the sceneries. A number of water flows can be seen on ravines, of
which most famous is "Fudo no Taki" water drops in "Todoroki Fudo" temple. The
history of the temple goes back to Heian era centuries ago. The entire area is
said to be named Todoroki (roaring sound) because of the vast water drop sound
of Fudo no Taki.
Although some people take the water at an inside park,
local hygiene authority instructs not to drink the water directly.
