The water emerges at a natural spring on the east side of the Gaisberg, which is the local mountain of Salzburg, at 860m above sea level. The Gaisberg is considered a mountain of power recognized by the ancestors and valued as a source of spirit and spirituality in mythical times. The water is drawn from a depth of about 60 meters.

The water is bottled at the source in a truly artisanal fashion. Gaisberg is bottled from a small mobile facility by hand in compliance with the highest hygiene criteria with no fixed industrial production facilities. This labor-intensive process was chosen by the desire to share a natural product in its natural state with the world.

The people behind Gaisberg are proud of the quality, regionality, sustainability of the water and are bottling only in limited quantities. The Salzburger Land Certificate analyses the water regularly and guarantees the products of Salzburg origin. In addition, the quality of Gaisberg water is also monitored by two independent institutes.
